There was 14 working fires in Eastern Connecticut in the month of May, This brings total for the year to 104 working fires. This number may be off due to some fires in the area that were not reported.

May 31, 2007 - 19:45hrs - Norwich (Occum) 37 Nausha St, electrical fire in laundry room from a lightning strike

May 30, 2007 - 10:30hr - Lisbon - 104 Kinsman Hill Rd, Fire on 1st flr extending up, 2nd FAST to scene

May 28, 2007 - 22:30hrs - Colchester - Broadway, fire in a large garage attached to house

May 28, 2007 - 13:30hrs - Norwich (Yantic) 11 Huntington Ln, fire in the basement

May 19, 2007- 17:30hrs - Plainfield (Central Vilage) 10 Putnam Rd, reported fire in a bakery.

May 19,2007 - 11:10hrs - Plainfield (Moosup) 5 River St, Griswold Rubber Co. Roof fire

May 16, 2007 - 20:30hrs - Killingly (Attawangan) 2nd Alarm Chestnut Hill Rd, fire in a private dwelling.

May 16, 2007 - 02:00hrs - Herbon unkown location, fire in a private dwelling

May 15, 2007 - 17:00hrs - Bradford RI, (General Alarm) fire in a wooden mill, numerous CT departments on scene.

May 15, 2007 - 13:00hrs - Bozrah (Gilman) Thomas Rd Gilman Corp, fire in a silo

May 14, 2007 - 17:10hrs - Norwich (Yantic) 3rd Alarm 2 Deepwoods Dr, Well involved house fire, M/A tankers

May 7,2007 - 03:15hrs - Norwich (City) 7 John St, fire on 2nd flr of a 2 stry wd

May 5, 2007 - 21:58hrs - Griswold (Jewett City) 47 Fairview Ave, 2 1/2 stry wd, fully involved, M/A tankers and RIT

May 2, 2007 - 08:40hrs - Killingly (Danielson) 2nd Alarm 232 Broad St, fire on the 3rd flr and attic of a 3 stry victorian
