(17) April 27, 2008 – Willimantic – 01:15hrs – 60 Southridge Dr, fire in a private dwelling

(16) April 26, 2008 – Norwich – 01:26hrs (5th Alarm) 2 Westledge Dr, Peachtree Apartments. Well involved apartment building, master stream in operation. Building destroyed. 150 people out of homes.

First I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2008! In 2007 I have recorded 215 working fires in Eastern Ct alone. Most of this came from Scanner reports, newspapers articles, websites and people who frequent this website. I would like to thank those of you who helped me keep up with this busy year. if 2008 is anything like 2007, I'm going to need all the help I can get. I will keep trying to keep this updated as best I can and if you know of any working fires that are not posted here. please leave me a comment below. My criteria is Room & Contents fire or better. No small, non-event calls. If a line was pulled, charged, and flowed 100 gals or more in a structure, it is a working fire! See you on the fireground!
